Command the “Keystone Corner” with the Roy Hobbs 11” “Natural” and “Wonderboy” Series Infielder’s Gloves - for infielders who want the ultimate in both classic “throwback” styling and professional, 100% AMERICAN MADE craftsmanship. Each glove is made from genuine, top-quality native American Steerhide in either rich, Burnished Walnut (the Natural), or for the player who wants the quality and design of a classic, “throwback” glove with a more contemporary look, a deep Navy Blue with Burgundy trim and Cream-Colored laces (the Wonderboy). Full-grained and pre-oiled, the GRH-1100 molds to the player’s hand for a custom-like fit while maintaining the durability needed to play at the highest-level day in and day out…season after season. Ideal for second basemen, these precision-cut, heavily-stitched and hand-rubbed gloves requires only light-medium break-in time…but it’s worth it! The shallow, perfectly pre-formed pocket makes quick ball transfers a snap, providing middle infielders with the ability to turn lightning-quick double plays with a top-of-the-line, 100% AMERICAN MADE ball glove. It’s also a great size for 10-15 year olds at any infield position.

I never write reviews but I thought this was a good time. I bought this glove about two years ago for my now 13 year old son. Before I bought this glove he was playing with a larger glove and the ball was getting lost in infield play. The smaller glove worked wonders to improve his glove to hand ball transition. What I am most impressed with this glove is how stiff it remains despite being broken in. He has played year round ball and the glove is pretty worn in but it still remains stiff enough to hold shape to hold the ball in place. It does not flop around like poor quality gloves do. The leather is thick and is a great quality. The only complaint I have is the leather strap on the palm has lost its top layer or color. It does not hurt my review because my son is rough on his gear and I imagined at some point I would have the glove re-laced anyway. I added his name to the glove so I always get positive comments from other parents, plus it should be easier to find if lost. I took a gamble with this glove as there are hundreds of different gloves out there but I am 100% glad i bought this glove. I am also glad it was made here in the USA. Thanks for a quality product. I hope to buy another someday.

I came to Roy Hobbs after discovering every baseball glove at my local sports store was low quality made in China. I just couldn't do it: this is America's game - I wanted an American mitt. But after extensive googling I was surprised by the price differential between what I found in Big 5 and here. How can American mitts cost so much more?
Because they're friggin amazing, that's why. Now I know better. This is the perfect glove. Extremely high quality leather and bindings, webbing is strong and only took 3-4 hours of playtime to break in. Folds beautifully to catch the ball and requires only minimum of lubrication and care. And best of all, it's made in AMERICA, supporting American jobs by playing the American pass-time.
All prices are in USD.
